In a volatile area of space bordered by the Klingon's, Romulan's and the Federation itself - merely a stones throw away from the warmongering Gorn Hegemony, adding to the potential turmoil. Task Force 86, codenamed TRIDENT, stands ready to provide tactical support, scientific research, and clandestine operations within the Triangle. Task Force 86 has been positioned in the triange to ensure order to entire region while also providing security to the Federation.
Currently commanded by Rear Admiral Michael Harrison and Commodore Alfred Blye, provide stable and experienced leadership to Task Force 86. The Task Force is currently split into two Task Groups, Task Group Neptune and Task Group Proteus. These devoted Commanding Officers, simm crews, and Task Groups are devoted to our Task Force's growth and prosperity in the role playing world. We focus on the events proceeding Dominion War and Star Trek: Nemesis but precede Star Trek XI.

The USS Al-Batani has arrived in TF86 under the Command of
Captain Alistair Shaw. It will soon be setting sail for new
horizons. In the mean time, I'd like to welcome aboard our
first crew member, Chief Security Officer, Nick Rayek.
